How to post on Epodia You can post your own authored teaching items on Epodia so that other instructors can adopt them for their courses. What materials are suitable for posting on Epodia? Begin the process by preparing the document(s) you wish to post: A. Put your name and the current date in a copyright notice in the footer of the first page. Remember that whatever teaching materials you post on Epodia will remain under your copyright. Only use the logo of an academic institution if you have permission to do so. B. Epodia can accept most file formats. For text documents, however, it is best to translate the document into PDF format, using PDF generation software (built into many applications or available from Adobe). Excel and slide presentations are better left in their original format. C. Consider what other materials your fellow instructors would need before they can start using your work. Especially valuable are teaching notes (for cases) and PowerPoint slides (for lectures). When posting such complementing material, please post them as "supplements" to the main item you are posting (e.g. a case) so that our database can link these items and share the link with other users. You will be prompted for such materials as part of the posting process (see below).
It takes just a few minutes to post your material on Epodia. And the procedure is simple and self-explanatory. You'll be prompted to provide basic publication information, such as the title, authors, abstract and so on. You'll then be directed to select the file from your computer (the same way you open any file). And that is it. To see how truly easy the process is check: "How do I actually post on Epodia" or click Post. Please note that you must be an approved member and be logged-in to access the posting page. To post teaching materials on Epodia the author must be a pre-qualified teacher, researcher, trainer or academic instructor. Posting on Epodia is free of charge and the author maintains all copyrights. Similarly, downloading and using Epodia material is free as long as users follow the Terms and conditions of use and adhere to all copyright restrictions.
